![]() ![]() If you are an adult without kids or remember Toy Story from your teen years, go see Toy Story 4. The adult jokes and family-friendly humor is all over the place. I would ask is Toy Story 4 for adults? Heck yes. ![]() Will your kids like it? Honestly, a review that asks if this movie is for kids is, well…., reaching. You’ll find pattern hints, Pixar short nods, and even historic toys you may have had as a kid. You’ll also see more Toy Story 4 Easter Eggs than you can shake a stick at. Plus, my Bo Peep Dapper Disneybound is pretty fun. The ensuing madness is quirky and charming. Woody, Bo Peep, and the gang are in a state of transition, as everything around them is changing, and they must choose and adapt. Did you see Wreck it Ralph 2? I hardly thought a movie could be more self-aware than that, but Josh Cooley brings an awareness to Toy Story 4 that hasn’t been with these characters before. I haven’t laughed so hard, or so often, at a movie in quite a while. If Toy Story 3 made you ugly cry and sob, Toy Story 4 will tickle your funny bone. ![]()
